Last night the pre-school room had a visit from a Leprechaun! The rascal made a big mess but the boys and girls were good helpers getting it back in order! He even left coins for the children.

Today we were all pretty much tear free at drop-off! The kids are really starting to feel comfortable with the routine of the classroom and we are starting to see their personalities blossom. Please make sure to turn in any paperwork you may still have from the office including emergency forms, media forms, etc.

Happy Picture Day! All of our little 2 day preschool angels were dressed up so nicely! Today was our first day of gym class. We loved getting to know our gym teacher Mrs. Wieber. We stretched, played games, and pretend to race like different animals. Have a great weekend.

Our second week is off to a great start! The kids are really starting to grasp the routine and schedule of the classroom. Please note that Thursday is picture day! Don't worry about dressing for the color of the day on Thursday. We look forward to seeing them all dressed up for their first school picture wearing their sweetest smiles!

Today the children:
* participated in prayer, pledge, and morning activities lead by students
* worked on fine motor skills by stringing large frog beads on strings
* took fingerprints to create our picture"God made me special"
* made self portraits and glued beads, colored pasta, and sparkles to create a frame
* enjoyed playing with animals, the housekeeping area, cars and trains
* listened to the story Designed by God so I must be special by Bonnie Sose'
* played outside on the playground equipment
* had fun!
--I will try to update the website more timely! With all my responsibilities (office, auction chair, preschool aid, and president of Home & School, etc) finding time to learn how to navigate Weebly to create and update the website has been challenging. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
We had a busy, but wonderful first day! Although we had a few tears to start the day, our 2 day preschoolers left the room all smiles! Thanks for your understanding and patience with the change in pick up routine. We look for to another fun day on Thursday getting to know each other better.
